Sky full of Stars

This mug is wheel thrown porcelain. After the form dried to leather hard I trim it and added the porcelain handle. The body of the mug and handle are decorated with an aqua snowflakes underglaze transfer. After the piece is bone dry I put it in the kiln for bisque firing. Once the mug is cool and cleaned I glaze with chun blue on the outside, and flowy blue glazes on the inside rim. 

- 4” high 3.25” wide: handmade mugs do vary in size slightly. You can purchase these mugs in either a straight shape, or a curvaceous shape.
